What is BMT Micro? | |
| BMT
Micro is a software distribution and order fulfillment service for
professional through part time software developers. We are also a
software repository where the general public can select from the
extensive catalog of software written by those same developers.
| |
|
Why does BMT Micro appear on my credit/debit card statement?
| This indicates that you have purchased an item through the BMT Micro order system on the internet.
We
represent a large number of software vendors on the internet and it is
possible that you have not visited our site, but you have been billed
by BMT Micro on behalf of one of our software vendors. You should have
received an email message at the time of purchase containing your
receipt and other information pertaining to the order.
|
I'm having all sorts of problems. Can BMT Micro help?
| Yes
we can help you. If you are having trouble downloading a particular
title, have questions about billing, shipping, order status and
available software, we have the answers to your questions.
If
you are having problems regarding software features, configuration,
compatibility or upgradability, then you need to contact the developer
of that software.
If you are having trouble finding a contact
address for the developer, we can forward your inquiry to them or
provide you with contact information.
| |
|
Who should I contact with general questions about a particular title?
| Our
customer service staff will be more than happy to assist you with
general product information such as product price, delivery options and
availability.
Any questions regarding compatibility, specific product features and functionality should be directed to the developer.
|
What is BMT Micro's refund policy?
|
The majority of the software we sell is distributed on a
try-before-you-buy basis which eliminates virtually all situations
where a refund is requested due to the fact that the opportunity to
thoroughly evaluate a product is made before the product is purchased.
We strongly encourage you to try the software you are purchasing before
you buy it. If you purchase a product you have tried and still have
discovered problems, please contact the developer or technical support
first. In most cases, a solution is available and our experience shows
that software developers are eager to help you solve any problems you
might have. In the unlikely event you purchase a product you have tried
prior to purchasing, and have been in contact with the developer of the
software to attempt a resolution, we do offer a 30 day refund policy.
The 30 day period begins from the date of the purchase and runs 30
consecutive days, including weekends and holidays.
We offer the same refund policy on software that is not
available on a try-before-you-buy basis, however we still ask that you
contact the software developer with any issues prior to requesting a
refund.
So to recap: After purchasing, if you have any problems you
should always first attempt to resolve them with the developer. If
within 30 days of purchase you are not able to solve any post-sale
issues, contact us and we will gladly assist you.
|
I use my freemail account because of spam, how will this effect my order?
| Freemail
accounts are allowed by the system, but require manual processing for
fraud purposes. Please allow up to 48 hours for your purchase to be
completed when using a freemail account.
BMT Micro will never sell or give your information away to
any third parties. We provide customer information to the vendor of the
product you are purchasing only.
